We must reject socialism and fight for American values

Right now, socialism is rearing its ugly head across the country and gaining ground for the first time in a generation. We must reject this extreme anti-American movement before it takes root in Washington and destroys the very values that have made America great.

I am sure you saw that in recent weeks, self-described “Socialists” have scored alarming primary victories in places like New York, Colorado, and beyond. They aren’t even hiding it anymore— these extremists are affiliated with the radical group “Democratic Socialists of America” and advocate for government control of our economy, massive tax hikes on working people, open borders, closing down prisons, defunding the police, and policies that punish success while promising “free” everything – paid for by you.

First radical Socialist Zohran Mamdani took over the once great New York City. Now, his acolytes are flipping seats around the country and spreading their dangerous ideology. Just take a look at some of the positions these socialists hold:

Melat Kiros, Socialist Nominee for Colorado’s 1st Congressional District said 9-11 was “inevitable in the sense that we destabilized a lot of the Middle East — that forced people to believe that another act of violence was the only response.”

Darializa Avila Chevalier, Socialist Nominee for New York’s 13th Congressional District said “A world without borders—just like a world without prisons or police—is possible, necessary, and the only moral way forward.”

These are the candidates who are in the process of swiftly taking over the Democrat Party.

The socialists don’t mince words with where they stand, so neither will I. Here is what I know to be true:

• Socialism is a dangerous ideology that has failed everywhere it has been tried.
• Socialism is responsible for the death of tens of millions people who suffered, starved, and died under its repressive thumb.
• Socialism is antithetical to the values that built America into the strongest economy and most prosperous nation the world has ever seen.

We will never let America become socialist nation.

In Congress, I fight for lower taxes, less regulation, and opportunity so families can thrive. Our district fuels America with agriculture and energy, born from the hard work and industriousness of many generations of Central Valley residents. We are fighting for secure borders, safe communities, and support for our police – because the rule of law is worth protecting.

I believe in unity, hard work, and the principles that built this nation – not dividing us by class or pitting Americans against each other.

The choice is clear: We can embrace freedom, personal responsibility, and limited government – or watch socialism erode our prosperity, just as it’s failing in deep-blue cities and states.
