Bakersfield, CA — Candidate for Assembly, Vince Fong added another endorsement today in his race for the 34th State Assembly District by gaining the support of the California Small Business Association (CSBA).
“Small businesses provide millions of Californians jobs that support our state’s economy,” said CSBA President, Betty Jo Toccoli. “We need leaders like Vince Fong in the Assembly that understand the value of small business and will advocate for their needs in Sacramento.”
The California Small Business Association is a volunteer-driven, nonprofit, non-partisan organization that serves as a voice for small businesses at both the state and federal levels. The organization has members throughout the state of California and across numerous sectors of the economy, and works to limit burdensome regulations, reduce lawsuit abuse and keep taxes affordable.
Since announcing his campaign in January, Fong has received substantial support from community leaders and local organizations. “Supporting small business is one of the best ways we can help grow jobs and prosperity here in Kern County,” said Fong of CSBA’s endorsement. “I am honored to receive their support and look forward to working with them in the future.”
Vince has served as the District Director to House Majority Leader and Congressman Kevin McCarthy for almost 10 years, managing public policy issues for the region, working to create jobs, making commonsense reforms, and fighting to improve the quality of life for the area’s neighbors and families.
As a legislator, Fong will continue to advocate for common-sense policies that create jobs and strengthen the local economy while ensuring that public safety remains a priority.
