BAKERSFIELD– Assemblyman Vince Fong has received the endorsement of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association PAC (HJTA PAC).
Fong was praised by Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association’s PAC Chairman Jon Coupal for his “strong and constant support for Proposition 13 and excellent service to taxpayers.”
Fong has continued to fight in the Legislature to protect the taxpayer’s protections from the historic Proposition 13 in order to provide certainty to homeowners, which during this uncertain time is even more critical.
“I’m honored to have the support of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association PAC,” said Assemblymember Vince Fong. “The voice of hard working taxpayers must be front and center in every debate in the state legislature as we fight for common sense in Sacramento.”
Fong has opposed Prop 15, the 2020 ballot measure to reclassify commercial property separately from residential in a “split roll,” which will result in high property taxes on small businesses and will make the affordability crisis in California worst.
Born and raised in Kern County, Assemblyman Fong has spent the last decade advocating for policies to lower taxes, create more jobs, and make Kern County a safer place to live, work and raise a family.
A Republican, Vince is running for the 34th California State Assembly District.
