Bakersfield, CA – With early results showing Congressman Vince Fong overwhelmingly winning reelection for a full term representing California’s 20th Congressional District, Fong released the following statement:

“It is an honor and privilege to serve the Central Valley in Washington D.C. Throughout different elections to fill this seat over the past year, it remains truly humbling to me that the one constant has been that the voters of our district put their faith in me each and every time, and I will not let them down.”

“I look forward to continuing to work on the important issues facing our communities— securing the border, growing our economy, bringing investments in water storage and infrastructure, unleashing our energy industry, and keeping the United States safe amidst the grave security threats facing our nation.”

Fong was elected to represent California’s 20th Congressional District in May. He previously served in the California State Assembly.
