Bakersfield, CA — Assemblyman Vince Fong today announced he has received the endorsement of the Tulare County Republican Party, in his bid for re-election in the newly drawn 32nd Assembly District.
“Throughout his time in the State Assembly, Vince Fong has led with conservative values and been a strong voice for the Central Valley” stated James Henderson, Chair of the Tulare County Republican Party. “He will continue to work tirelessly for more water, jobs and public safety for Tulare County families. The Tulare County Republican Party fully supports his re-election campaign in Assembly District 32.”
Fong has received strong support from Republican leaders and organizations across the Central Valley. The Tulare County Republican Central Committee voted this past week to officially endorse Fong’s campaign.

Vince Fong was born and raised in Bakersfield, graduated from West High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and master’s from Princeton University. For nearly a decade, he served as the district director to House Majority Leader and Congressman Kevin McCarthy, managing public policy issues for the region, working to create jobs, making common sense reforms, and fighting to improve the quality of life for our neighbors and families.
A dedicated neighbor and committed volunteer, Vince is on the board of the Jim Burke Education Foundation, and is a former board member for Goodwill Industries of South Central California and Honor Flight Kern County, where he worked to send WWII, Korean War and Vietnam Veterans to Washington, DC to see their memorials.
Assemblyman Vince Fong is in his 3rd term in the Assembly. He serves as Vice Chair of the Budget and Transportation Committees. He is running for re-election in District 32, encompassing the communities of Exeter, Ridgecrest, Tehachapi, Maricopa, Taft, portions of Bakersfield and Visalia, Kaweah, Kernville, Lake Isabella, the Kern River Valley, Lemon Cove, Oildale, Oak Grove, and Three Rivers.
